CD-P1 Product Film

A product film for a fictional product, a CD player designed by Pich.Studio

This project was a collaboration with my friend Pierrick Pichaureaux of pich.studio, an industrial designer based in France, who created this CD player as a personal project inspired by the design language of Teenage Engineering. The clean, functional aesthetic sparked the concept, and I brought it to life through a short animation highlighting the intricate details of the design. This was also an opportunity for me to return to product rendering after years focused on short films and character animation, exploring how light, texture, and composition can transform a mechanical object into something dynamic and visually captivating.

My role was to complete a wide variety of tasks from simulation, concept development, animation, lighting, shading, edit, and sound design. The original product concept was designed and modeled by Pierrick Pichaureaux of pich.studio.

Disclaimer: This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Teenage Engineering. It is a personal passion project inspired by their designs.
